VOCABULARY, Feb. 12th, 2010

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

commiserate (verb)     +  apologetic     (adjective)

She called to commiserate with him over the loss of his job in return for his apologetic responses during their last argument.


His apologetic manner made everyone commiserate with him when he was fired.
