MARTHA: #1--this is a dependent clause; #2--good; yes, but don't forget the punctuation needed between these clauses.
MAYA:#1--good; #2--this is not a dependent clause--note that the subject of the verb "think" is the same as the subject of "saw"; #3--good.

MARTHA: Good--both version of #2 work well:-)
UZMA: #1--something is missing here; #2--That's a phrase; #3--you have added an independent clauser but changed the original one into a dependent clause;-)

STEPHANIE: #s 1 and 2 are good; #3 would be fine if you left out "for" and used a semicolon;-)
