UZMA:Close--think about subject-verb agreement;-)
ABBY:You also need to think about subject-verb agreement;-)

I have one question that is not relevant to the exercise: according to my high school teacher, it is usually a bad idea to use the qualifier 'really'. So, if I want to rewrite it for academic purpose, should I simply omit it or should I replace it with 'extremely' ?

UZMA: closer--but there is still a problem with subject-verb agreement, and you also need to look at the punctuation;-)
JOSEPHINE:Good:-)) I think your teacher was probably referring to the common usage of "really" to mean "very"; this is one of those grey areas. The language is continually evolving, and for many people "really" is now standard usage. The problem is that most of us have our particular pet peeves when it comes to language use;-)

I think I missed something when I retyped it:

The team were really happy that they had won the game so easily: now the players are recovering from the party they threw afterward
