VOCABULARY, May 29th

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

circumlocution (noun) + either adverse (adjective) or adversely (adverb)

Felix often uses circumlocutions when he speaks, and this affects his writting style adversely.

Carole: Yes, but watch for typos (I'm the only one allowed to make those), and note that it would be more usual to place "adversely" before the verb "affects".
