Andra: #1--yes, but the expression is "all of a sudden"; #s 2 and 3--very good.

Phrase: On the calender this morning, there is only one month left in 2008.
Dependant: When I look at the calendar, there is only one month left until 2008.
Independant: there if only one month left in 2008, however I will get all the Christmas shopping done.

Sara: #1 is an independent clause (subject + verb); #s 2 and 3 are good.
Kerry: # 1--good; #2--grammatically correct but check the wording; #3--Yes, but check for typos:-)

Shahinaz: #s 1 and 3 are good; #2 is another independent clause.
Nadia: #1--good; #2--grammatically correct but the meaning isn't quite right; #3--good apart from the punctuation.
