#1 Sam is avidly watching the Olympic Games on a big-screen television.
#2 He is avidly watching the Olympic Games on a big-screen television.
UZMA:Good:-)
MARTHA: You have changed the subject--for #2 you need to change the direct object;-)
#2 Sam is avidly watching the winter Games on a big-screen television.
UZMA: You have correctly identified "Olympic Games" as the direct object, but you need to change the two words that make up that object (they could be replaced with just one word); as it is, you have used "winter" as an adjective, and that is the only word you changed.
no comment for now till Feb 24th,
SONBOL: We're all looking forward to your participation on the 24th, but there's no need to wait;-)
