GRAMMAR QUESTION, Jan. 18th, 2010

Correct the errors in the following sentence:

Less people in Canada are planning travelling over this year because of the worse weather that happened in to many parts of the country recently and because it is expensive.

Few people in Canada are planning to travel over this year either because of the bad weather that happened in many parts of the country recently or because it is expensive.

Fewer people in Canada plan on travelling this year, because of the ongoing bad weather in many parts of the country and because of the high expenses.

JAYA: You need to think about the difference between 'a few' and 'few'--the meaning is quite different; also check out the difference between 'to' and 'too' and note that you are missing some punctuation;-)
