VOCABULARY, Aug. 12th, 2009

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

glabrous (adjective) + retrospect (noun)

Retrospect about the list of the glabrous leaves in the botanical garden is all that I need to finish this project.

Sariyat: Vocabulary is good, but use "a retrospect".

In retrospect, I should have chosen the glabrous peaches rather than those with fuzz on them.

I believe they are called nectarines.

Daniela: Yes, but then they aren't peaches! Nectarines are actually a cross between peaches and plums.
