After meeting last week, the committee approved the construction of a new Retirement Centre.
Rupinder: The second entry is much better, but you don't need capital for "retirement centre"--it's not the specific name of a place.

After meeting last week, the committee approved the construction of a new retirement centre.
Rupinder: Grammatically good, but note that you have changed the meaning when you use 'after" instead of "when".
