SENTENCE COMPLETION, Feb. 19th

Cindy: #1--OK; #2--that's a phrase; there's no verb; #3--good, but remember the punctuation needed;-)

While visiting in India, we saw many interesting people and places.

2. We saw many interesting people and places while we were visiting in India.

3. We saw many interesting people and places in India, and we met all our relatives.

Jeff: #1--a good phrase; #2--this is still a phrase when you reverse the clause and phrase order; #3--this is not a separate clause as there is no subject.
