Learning to combine ideas into more complex sentences is an important skill in writing. There are many ways to do this--many possible bonus points! Try to combine the following three sentences.
1. Many people celebrated the new year and hoped for better things in 2010.
2. January is when we return to our jobs or school.
3. January is also the month when we have to pay those holiday bills.

UZMA: Very good apart from a missing comma;-)
