For a matter of fact, she was a person who was hard to convince. For instant, she certainly would like to think that his opinions were the correct ones, rather than anyone elses view.
...elses should be else's
As the matter of fact, she was a person who was hard to be convinced. For instant, she certainly would like to think that his opinion was better then any one else view.
As a matter of fact, she was a person who was hard to convince. For instance, she certainly liked to think that her opinions were more correct than anyone else's views.
MARTA: You're definitely on the right track here, but there are a couple of usages that you should think about;-)
UZMA: Like Marta, you'r eon the right track but have some incorrect usages; you also have some word confusion.
MAYA: A very good interpretation of the original--there are others possible:-)
As the matter of fact, she was a person who was hard to convince. For instant, she certainly liked to think that her opinion was accurate then any one else's view.
UZMA:You've changed some things for the better, but you still have the problems I indicated previously;-)
As a matter of fact, she was hard to be convinced instantly: she certainly would like to think that her opinion is more correct than the view of anyone else.
JOSEPHINE: That's an interesting sentence--notice that while you have solved many of the problems, your change from "for instant" to "instantly" changes the meaning of the sentence significantly.
As the matter of fact, she was a person who was hard to be convinced instantly, she would certainly like to think that her opinion is more correct than anyone else's view.
Okay, let me try again.
As a matter of fact, she was hard to be convinced; for instance, she certainly would like to think that her opinion was more correct than the view of anyone else.
UZMA: You still haven't made the necessary corrections, and now you have introduced an awkward passive voice construction that isn't appropriate. Check other responses to get a clue as to what you should fix;-)
JOSEPHINE: That's much better, but I should also have pointed out the passive construction that doesn't work in this sentence.
As a matter of fact, she was hard to convince; for instance, she certainly would like to think that her opinion was more correct than the view of anyone else.
JOESPHINE: Good solution--well done:-)
