VOCABULARY, Nov. 10th, 2009

Vocabulary building is important for both reading comprehension and writing. Use the following two words (note the part of speech) in one sentence.

complement (verb) + disparate (adjective)

ABBY: You have some word confusion here--you need "complement" and "disparate" ;-)

Oh brother, just keeping you on your toes!! What I meant to type was:

Although both students came up with disparate ideas, they seemed to complement each other.
