Halloween is on Saturday this year, but it will be on Sunday next year.
Amin: You have added a dependent clause (addition #2); you also need to add a phrase (#1) and an independent clause (#3).
My son told me, Halloween is on Saturday this year so we will go to Chucky Cheese.
